Chaparral Pines’ private championship golf course is an 18-hole, par-72 masterpiece designed by former U.S. Open and PGA Champion David Graham and noted Scottsdale-based architect Gary Panks. It was named one of Golf Digest’s “Top 10 New Private Golf Courses in the U.S.” when it opened in 1997 and consistently ranks among the magazine’s “Top 10 Private Golf Courses” in Arizona.

Payson Golf Course is located among the pure beauty that makes North Central Arizona wonderful. The course was designed by Frank Hughes and Russell Zakariasen and first opened in 1960.
Payson's front nine is wide open and its back nine is more hilly. The greens are slow, and there is a creek that comes into play on seven holes. The course sits at an elevation of 5,000 feet and has great mountain views and a cooler summer temperature than most other areas of arizona. There are many pine trees that can alter your shots.
