Haigler Creek is about 15 miles north of Young, Arizona 40 miles from Payson Arizona. It is in the National Forest near the well-stocked Haigler Creek. Young is located in Pleasant Valley about 60 miles from Payson and approximately 120 miles from the Phoenix metro area. The elevation is approximately 5,200 feet, nestled among the largest stand of Ponderosa Pines in the world. If you are looking for a small town in the woods, this is a good option. Young is in the northeastern Tonto National Forest and offers plenty of fishing, hiking, and hunting.
